DYNAMIC GROUP ACQUIRES CYCLE CONSTRUCTION TO FORM ONE OF THE REGION’S LARGEST CIVIL CONSTRUCTION & DISASTER RESPONSE FIRMS
BATON ROUGE, La. (April 1, 2026) – Baton Rouge-based Dynamic Group Holdings, LLC, the holding company for Dynamic Group, LLC (“Dynamic”) today announced that it has completed its acquisition of Cycle Construction Company L.L.C. (“Cycle Construction”), a Kenner, Louisiana-based contractor focused on heavy civil construction, including pile driving, site preparation, demolition, underground utilities, and emergency response work.
Cycle Construction is a family-owned contractor that has provided heavy civil construction and emergency response services across the region. With more than five decades of experience, Cycle Construction’s expertise includes levees, floodwalls, and pump station construction, underground utilities, marine construction, demolition, environmental infrastructure, and large-scale emergency response.
Cycle Construction will operate under Dynamic’s holding corporation, giving private- and public-sector clients a responsive, high-quality team capable of delivering the most complex and consequential projects in the region. Cycle Construction will continue operating from its Kenner, Louisiana, location under the Cycle Construction name and with its current management team as part of the Dynamic family of companies.
The acquisition expands Dynamic’s offerings to public- and private- sector clients across heavy civil construction, demolition, site preparation, infrastructure, logistics, and disaster response services. Cycle Construction was on the ground the day after Hurricane Katrina struck on August 29, 2005, providing pump station repairs, emergency levee repairs, and debris removal, and completed 70 U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reconstruction and response projects over the following decades.
Dynamic is a Louisiana-based general contractor and disaster recovery firm with 24 years of experience. Dynamic has managed federally funded programs in Louisiana and across the country, serving more than 30,000 families and protecting thousands of communities from natural disasters.
Together, Dynamic and Cycle Construction combine civil construction, program management, recovery housing missions, and emergency response expertise, with work spanning federal, state, local, and private-sector projects. Cycle Construction’s project experience includes rail, transportation, port, flood protection, water, and wastewater work in Louisiana and Mississippi.

The acquisition follows a recent leadership transition at Dynamic. In September 2025, Zach Butterworth joined Dynamic as Chief Executive Officer, and McCoy assumed the role of Chairman.
