Ethical Issues and Decision Making for Rehab Professionals | 5.0 Credit Hours
Participants will expand their knowledge of rehabilitation (Physical, Occupational and Speech) professional ethics codes. Using a simple yet powerful ethical decision-making model, the therapist will recognize an ethical dilemma, apply the model, utilize and balance both professional and legal documents and will practice through case scenarios to reach ethical outcomes.

Capacity Evaluation and the Appointment of a Guardian in the ‘Court of Last Resort’ | 2.0 Credit Hours
The Learner will gain an understanding of guardianship law and the process by which the Court appoints a legal guardian to act as a substitute decision-maker for an incapacitated person.
Guardianship of Elderly Wards: Understanding the Issues for Effective Caregiving | 4.0 Credit Hours
This web based course is designed for entry level and intermediate professional guardians, care managers, case managers and caregivers who work with an elderly population. This course is also appropriate for rehabilitation therapists who want to learn about how various professionals serve the needs of elderly wards through guardianship.
Current Trends and Treatment in Dementia Management | 10.0 Credit Hours
Course Goal: Learners who take this course will gain a tremendous understanding of all aspects of Dementia and the many ways the disease process impacts functions of daily living skills and communication.
Cardiovascular Disease and Mobility | 2.0 Credit Hours
Participants in this course will come to understand cardiovascular disease, including structures and organs affected, the signs and symptoms associated with these disease processes and how these symptoms may affect mobility, quality of life and participation in therapy.
